"...And Justice for All!"

"Justice Is Lost
Justice Is Raped
Justice Is Gone
Pulling Your Strings
Justice Is Done
Seeking No Truth
Winning Is All
Find it So Grim
So True
So Real"

James Hetfield, Metallica

For those who have not heard yet, Toronto resident and fitness physical expert David Carmichael, was found "Not criminally responsible" for the first degree murder of his 11 year old son, Ian. Was he guilty? Yes, the evidence not only pointed directly to him but he confessed to his crime. Yet he is still not responsible. Imagine that! You committ a heinous crime, you were aware of the act while you were committing it, and even though you are GUILTY you are just not responsible. Only in Canada! Where the perpetraitor's become victim's. Forsceneic psychopath's, I mean pyschiatrists, testified for both the Crown and Defence stating that he was suffering from a severe bout of depression. Yeah, that is too bad but how does this justify murdering your own child? According to Liberal appointed(that means un-elected) Ontario Superior Justice Helen Rady the rational(I.E. Justification for first degree murder) is because of Mr. Carmichaels disorder this "...rendered him incapable of knowing it was wrong." I consider the same line of reasoning every time I want to withhold paying any taxes but apparently there is no cop-out for that. I find it rather ironic that Judge Rady claim's that David was incapable of "...knowing it was wrong." when Dr. John Bradford of the Royal Ottawa Hospital testified that Carmichael believed killing Ian was the "morally right" thing to do because he thought the boy was growing increasingly violent and was going to stab his sister. Huh? If he didn't know right from wrong, as the judge seem's to think, then how could he possibly know or distinguish if ANYTHING at all was morally right? The intelligence of Judge Rady get's even better as she bellows out the rehearsed mantra chant of our (gag, puke!) justice system when she states (get ready, you have heard it all before) "I am satisfied that Mr. Carmichael poses no real threat to the public." Did you recognize that one. Judge Rady ends with "Indeed, Mr. Carmichael LIKELY poses more of a threat to himself than to the public." He likely? But the Judge is not exactly sure. I wonder if Ian would agree with her statement. It's amazing how Carmichael recalls everything about the night in question when he confessed to police how he gave Ian a mixture of sleeping pills with oranje juice, waited for him to fall asleep, then strangled him. Only he is not responsible because he was depressed. I get very depressed every time I am reminded that Paul Martin is still the Prime Minister but it certainly would not justify me taking a life now, would it? But, alas, this is justice in Canada. We are such a weak and tolerant society. What we cannot wake up to is the reality that justice and tolerance cannot co-exist. Otherwise we end up with numbbrained, deluded idiot's on a bench telling us we need to be more understanding of people like Dave Carmichael who premeditate the murder of their own children. To think our country has the gumption to condemn places like China for their inhumane treatment and violation of human rights against their own people while we coddle our own criminals for treating their victim's in the same manner. But that is typical Liberal hypocrisy in action. On the other hand, even if David was to be convicted of first degree murder, a charge carrying 25 years to life, this is afterall Canada where we apply the metric system to our sentence's. He would have been out in, oh..., probably 14 or 15, no let's be generous 18....days. Corrections Canada (Government of Canada) would not want to keep him in there too long because he would be taking up valuable space reserved for the real criminals of Canada. You know those hardened ones that try to get away without paying their taxes, or the prairie wheat farmer's caught selling their product over the border because their own Government wants to screw them with below rock bottom pricing, and of course the law abiding outdoorsman who did not register his hunting rifle. We all sleep better in this country knowing they are off the street. Until next time...

Stupid is as stupid does

clinging desparatly to hope

Ahhh yes, the famous words of the renowned Forrest Gump. Amazing how this "simpleton" seemed to display more intelligence than the average lackey we call the Liberal supporter. Now before you get your knicker's in a knot at least hear me out on this. With a potential election looming closer and the Liberal party of Canada back at 40% in the polls it begs the question, "Just how stupid are those who vote Liberal?" Consider my following 16 point presentation. What I am about to present is a quick overview of the last decade of Liberal rule and ALL those things we pathetically complacent and apathetic Canadian's either forget or willfully bury our head's in the sand about. Keeping in mind all of you Paul Martin supporter's who are decieved into believing that Paul represent's a "New government", that he is the same indvidual who was responsible for co-authoring the now famous Liberal "Red book" thereby making him just as responsible for all the "Promise's made, promise's then denied" during the tyrannical reign of the evil dark lord Jean Chretien. If by the time you get to the end of this list you would still vote Liberal, then YES I question your mentality. Alright here we go:
1)The PROMISE to eliminate the GST. Still waiting.
2.)Accountability on the HRDC's billion dollar boondoggle. Still waiting.
3.) Promised to end child poverty by the year 2000. (In fact it is on the rise.) Still waiting.
4.) The two million dollar gun registry that has now ballooned to 2 BILLION dollars and counting. Allan Rock, Anne McCellan, and Paul Martin have never answered to or been able to justify this insane amount of money to Canadians. Nor have they accepted any responibility for allowing it to get where it is at today. Crime has continued to escalate not decrease as they promised. Still waiting.
5.) The promise to improve our health care system, a system that was finacially "gutted" by guess who? Yours truly Paul Martin. He has now PROMISED to fix the very problem that he created. Still waiting.
6.)Investment in our military...with 40 year old helicopters falling out of the sky, leaking firetraps for submarines, green combat fatigues for desert oriented operations, Tonka toys for jeeps, and the fact that we have to call the US President to fly our troops over seas and their equipment(how embarassing) I would say we are ...Still waiting.
7.) National daycare program(not that we need one), they have been promising that one for 12 years during every pre-election campaign. Still waiting.
8.) How about one of the classic's from three years ago when Stockwell Day stood up in parliament with the Liberal red book and read from the section that promised to appoint an independent ethics commissioner to the house. Stockwell said he and the Opposition fully agreed with the Liberals and motioned to implement this red book promise. Paul martin was one of the first ministers to stand up and vote AGAINST his own promise. So now we are...Still waiting.
9.)The promise to protect and uphold the traditional definition of marriage. Paul claims a sudden change of heart after talking with a friend's daughter who is gay. That sounds an awful lot like Jean Chretien's BS story about his "homeless buddy". For the record, Paul Martin was given NO mandate by the Canadian people to redefine marrige. Bill C-38 translated is FORCED ACCEPTANCE upon the will of the people when poll after poll suggested that almost 70% of Canadian's were opposed to redefining marriage.
10.) Another classic from last year, Paul Martin's PROMISE to get to the bottom of the sponsorship scandal because he was "mad as hell" and that no election would be called until the Gomery commission had completed it's mandate. He then shut down the commission and called an election. Today we are still waiting.
11.)The Promise that same-sex marriage will not affect those with religious convictions because they are protected under the charter. Meanwhile Marriage commissioners(Manitoba, Saskatchewan) are being forced out of their jobs and clergy are being threatened with their tax charitable status being removed(Bishop Fred Henry, Calgary) if they speak out against the government's position on same sex marriage to their congregations. Paul's cowardly response..it's a provincial jurisdiction. So much for his precious charter.
12.) Gas taxes. Remember , by Paul's own admission, that for a period of at least three years not one single penny from gas taxes was invested in our crumbling highways. Was it paid back to us? No. Were we given a break when the price of fuel went up, considering our taxes were not going where they were supposed to any way? No. Where did the money collected go? Probably Quebec. Accountability on this issue? Still waiting.
13.) Now we have the infamous sponsorship scandal. Paul says "he knew nothing" even though he met with the accused (Alfonso Galigano and Chuck Guite) on a weekly basis. Keep in mind that he was not only the Minister of Finance but he was also the Vice-President of the Treasury Board. Guess what they do? Every dollar that is spent must first pass by their board for inquiry of what the funds are being requested for. After that it is up to the board to refuse or APPROVE funding but they will do neither until they have FULL KNOWLEDGE of what the money is for and where it is going. Paul Martin knew and know's all about the sponsorship scandal. He was a a part of it.
14.)Remember Paul Martin said that those responsible(for Adscam) "...would be punished severly". We just witnessed how severe it was recently when one of the infamous ad executive's, Paul Coffin, who was responsible for STEALING 1.5 million of your tax paying dollars ONLY had to pay back 1 million of it with no time in jail. If you the taxpayer owed the Federal Government as little as $150.00 in income tax but refused to pay it, you would do time in a Federal Penitentary on charges of tax evasion!
15.) Back to those gas taxes. With rapidly accelerating gas prices at the pumps due to hurricane's Katrina & Rita(yeah right...) Has your everloving Prime Minister done anything to ease the burden at the pump's? Let me demonstrate just how much he cares for his fellow Canadian's. Right now across the country there is a 1.5% tax on your fuel called the "Deficit reduction tax". The Liberals implemented this tax about 12 years ago to help wipe out the deficit and PROMISED to remove it once it was eliminated. NEWSFLASH!!!!! According to Paul Martin the deficit was eliminated...are you ready....8 YEARS AGO!!!! But he still cannot take his tight little fist's off our money. Not even when time's are tough.
16.) Let us also not forget(although if your Canadian, you probably will) his most recent promise to eliminate the "Democratic deficit". Back inthe spring (2005) Paul appointed a review committee, loaded with Liberals of course, to interview his losing candidate buddy Glen Murray for a top position in the Federal Government Enviormental Department. During the interview process, Glen Murray confessed to the committee he had very little knowledge of the position or the enviorment for that matter. With that information the committee refused his appointment. What did our democratically conscious Prime Minister do? He overrode the committee's decision and appointed Mr. Murray anyway. Atta boy Paul, very dictorial...uh I mean democratic of you.
This is the man Ontairo keep's putting back into power. Despite all the corruption of power, abuse, waste and mismangement of taxpayer dollars. These guy's make the Sopranoes look like a gentleman's club! Yet it's the same old tired position of the brainwashed out east.."What's the alternative?" they ask. How about taking a lesson from Quebec! That's right I said Quebec. Most Quebeceer's don't want seperation but they were willing to plug their noses on election day and vote for a seperatist party just to send the Liberals a powerful message that they don't approve of the way the Liberals are running, sorry ruining, the country. As sad as it is I must say the next election is already predictable. Despite a very dismal track record, one in which the Liberals cannot run a successful campaign on, they must then rely on the "peabrains" out east to fall for the all too predictable Liberal tactic...you know the one don't ya? The one where Paul Martin avoids all the above mentioned and tells you that the leader of the opposition is the boogey man. You easterner's, or ANY Liberal supporter for that matter, fall for it EVERYTIME. Stupid is as stupid does. Until next time...

Multiculturaism - The new human segregation

Why the big hype about multicultarism. Back when the use of the word became the "politically correct" term to use when discussing or promoting unity among various cultures that had come to live together under one nation in the same land, I must admit, the original INTENT behind this movement was very noble. But as I now look back over the last 20 years, what multicultarism set out to accomplish now appears to be heading in the opposite direction and plunging towards reverse discrimination. The original purpose of this movement was to end racial discrimination not reverse or throw it on to another ethnic group. Yet that is what appears to be happening. For example, in the world of sport's, we have The Latino game's..The African American games, or the more recent here in Canada..The North American Indegineous games. We have similar venues in the world of entertainment such as the Spanish actor's awards or the North American Black actor's awards. (Forgive me, some of the names of these events may not be word for word accurate) Most responses I recieve when I pose the question "Why so much emphasis on one particular race?" go something like this...."Well, I think it's great that these people get an oppurtunity to display how proud they are of their cultural background" Too which I might respond.." at the exclusion of other's? So we can point out how special our own group is? I thought we were to be united?"...To which the next response is usually "Well we are, but what is wrong with telling other's how much our particular culture has accomplished and achieved. What it has and can contribute to society. It instills pride back in our people and gives them self worth." My final response I am about to tell you actually took place between myself and very well educated and close Native American friend of mine...I made the following statement "So I guess it would be a good idea then to have the European Caucasian games as the next big cultural event" Too which they responded "Well, no!" "Why not ?" I asked. With their head now bowed slightly toward the ground and in a very admitting and sombering voice the reply came "Because...you would be labelled a racist" My point was made without rubbing it in. Multicultarism has caused more division between people by putting Black's in this corner, Native's in that corner, Chinese over here, East Indians over there. Once again, we totally managed to completely marginalize ourselves from one another. I cannot seem to get my head around how this is supposed to ease racial tensions. I wish that it would but I suspect it is having the opposite effect. In fact racism has now become prevelent in job application's. Recently a friend of mine applied for a Provincial Government job. He was almost immediately contacted as his qualifications were exceptional. According to him, the person on the other end of the phone could not wait to get him down for his interview. They only wanted to confirm something..."do you have your Metis or Treaty card?". " No" he told them. When they asked him why not he told them quite simply "Because I am not an Indian". He was told they would not be hiring him then. He pointed out to them that they JUST finished singing the praises of his application..."and now your not going to hire me because of the color of my skin?". "Sorry, the government has a mandate to hire so many Aboriginals to meet their qouta". How pathetically racist. We have not evolved or broken away from the bigoted views that were once held in decades past. We have gone from discriminating against one group of people and are now simply doing it to another. So much for uniting as human being's regardless of skin color or cultural background. Well, before I get labelled as a racist, I think I will take my Caucasian butt and go crawl into bed with my beautiful Cree Indian wife. We are both quite tired from our most excellent dinner visit with our very good, and very black, Nigerian friends. Until next time....

Who am I?

Who am I and why do I refer to myself as the intolerant one?

Good question.

My main reason is because I tend to hold alot of personal beliefs and views that fly directly in the face of mainstream society. I disagree with many views that most people might find acceptable. I do not disagree for the sake of arguement, I disagree because I simply cannot find logic in one's reasoning or view. I am, however, open minded enough to at least considering what a person has to say.

For example, I disagree with homosexual's being allowed to marry. It is an opinion that I am entitled to hold without fear of retribution. I have my reason's which I will most likely share another time.

However, there are those who would label me as "Intolerant" for exercising my fundamental right to freedom of moral conscience simply because I do not agree with them. Thereby displaying their own hypocrisy by demonstrating intolerance towards differing or opposing views. Heck, they even get into the name calling such as "bigot".

What really throws them off is when I let them in on one of my little secret's....I actually have some friends who are gay. I also think the belief in the evolution theory is absolutely ridiculous!

For the record, I was not raised in a religious home where creationism was taught, in fact far from it, so noone can lay claim as to my influence. The FACT(S) is that science can simply no longer support this absurd notion that we came from monkey's. What an insult to the human race.

Again, though, a topic for another blog(time).

I think Liberals are complete idiot's. Enough said on that topic for now.

Athesim...if your plane was about crash into the ground at 700 mile's per hour would you

A) sit silently still because , well, you don't believe in God or the hereafter anyways so you might as well sit back and recall the fondest moments of your life before impact or...

B) Do what instinctively comes naturally to man/woman and cry out to God "please save me!!!"

Athesim IS self deception/denial.

Next, the war in Iraq was necessary.

That ought to touch some nerve's. Actually the UN(useless nation's) should have dealt with that problem 12 years ago. Saddam had to go.. and NO the war is not about oil, do your homework and see where the US get's their oil from and where they will be in the future. Stop believing everything Michael Moore says..he's an idiot too.

Final topic of intolerance for now...practise safe sex "wear a condom". If a condom has an 18% failure rate (1 in 5) and can't protect you from herpe's, crabs, or fatal disease's such as HPV(Human papilloma virus) is it not just a LITTLE bit misleading to refer to it as "SAFE"?!!! Until next time.....
